Hezbollah Engages Israeli Troops in South Lebanon

Hezbollah has reported firing artillery shells at Israeli military personnel as they attempted to cross the border into southern Lebanon. The Shiite militant group stated that the incident occurred during an “infiltration” attempt near the village of Markaba, where Hezbollah fighters responded to the advancing infantry with targeted artillery fire.

In addition to this engagement, Hezbollah claimed to have launched rocket attacks on Israeli troops stationed in other areas, including the Labbouneh region of southern Lebanon. The group’s actions reflect ongoing tensions and military confrontations along the Israel-Lebanon border, highlighting the fragile security situation in the region.
